Seven Practices of a Mindful Leader
This is perhaps one of the best books I have ever read on specifically integrating the practice of mindfulness and applying this way of life, this way of being, into the world of business—which, of course, if you are a fan of nonduality, you may already conceive of as not separate from the rest of your life.
Particularly with work consuming such hefty portions of our daily life, it is refreshing to read a book that embraces this aspect of our lives with such clarity, logic, and common sense.
I very much recommend this book to any person who wants to lead in alignment with their values—to anyone who intuits there must be away to exist in business that is not in contrast with your meditative or spiritual practice.
To those who want to enhance their own lives and the lives of others, while living a life free from unnecessary dichotomies and strife—this is one amazing book for leaders of all backgrounds!
“People are drawn to mindfulness practice in the business world for the same reasons people practice mindfulness and meditation within any contemplative tradition—to transform their lives; to become more aware, focused, and flexible; to shift from a narrow, egocentric, fear-based way of being to becoming more open, curious, connected, and able to help others.”
