Feng Shui Away Stagnation
Feeling stuck or stagnant in life or business? Are you a borderline hoarder? Feel overwhelmied by the amount of "stuff" piling up? This process of clearning house, literally!), is not much unlike yoga and meditation practices of self-inquiry—getting to the root of why you are clinging to something you could or should have let go of years ago. Releasing what no longer serves you. And not being wasteful! Program of giving to veterans, homeless shelters, Goodwill, Salvation Army... what you don't need could probably serve a great purpose to someone with very little or nothing. Waste not, want not. You aren't wasting. Even if you're offering an extremely unfashionable sweater, it could keep somebody in need warm, or at least provide the ugliest sweater at their next ugly sweater party. You never know who you could serve while clearing the crap in your closets. Take each piece. Why do you have this item? What the heck do you need it for? Unconvinced? My grandmother. My mother. My family members. Myself. This is a touchy topic for some people, and some people have great attachments to their stuff. Why? Why? Why? Keep asking until you get the root of your attachments.
Seems obvious that physical stagnation is the root is mental or emotional disharmony as well.
Too much stuff.
Sifting the muck.
Now what?
