How Do You Define Success?
Isn’t this an obvious question that only we can answer?
So many live for what we THINK brings success, living for ideals instead of reality as is.
I have met far too many massively wealth and successful CEOs to know that money really can’t buy happiness.
It can certianly by a huge mansion, large garages full of fancy cars, and awesome gadgets, clothes, and material posessions. But if your kids refuse to call or hang out with you, if you are divorced (again and again and again) and lonely, I’ve found many people richer than I’d ever dreamed I could be in utter misery, bitter, alone, and genuinely unhappy.
How is that possible?
This has baffled me for years.
Is money really the root of all evil?
Or is money just one portion of what success looks like?
Ever hear the quote, you can spend your whole life getting to the top of the ladder to look and see you chose the wrong latter leading up the wrong house.
Ouch.
That saying always stuck with me and made me rethink my actions and efforts.
Surprisingly a lot of people don't have a clear definition of what their version of success looks like.
Can change what success means. Generosity, caring, kind.
