Peace of Mind in Marketing

Social Media tips on a site called Peace to the People, eh?

This section of my life is definitely more of a stretch to classify as purely "peace" but I am after all a professional stretcher.

So many risk entrepreneurship for a sense of control and freedom in their lives. Often, wearing a million hats and scrambling to make ends meet can feel a lot more stressful and hectic than serene and under control.

Thus, I see no separation, and know that business owners are often seeking strategies to streamline their business.

Why work harder when you could work smarter?

On your own watch, why waste you own precious time doing things in a slow and redundant way?

Is your way the best way?

What I love about working with small biz owners and entrepreneurs… most have a sense of a “can do” attitude—no matter the mountain, how monumental task… most successful entrepreneurs may widen their eyes, let the shitload of work ahead sink in, and then get to work.

Anything you can do to more easily manage the myriad of responsibilites you have, the better.

That is why I refuse to divy my business and expertise into tiny pieces.

In my opinion, it is essential to stay grounded, connected, and strong in mind, body, and spirit while plunging into this journey.

Feeling stressed and frazzled? There are definitely a shit ton of things you can do to help yourself.

I strive to bring peace of mind to small companies as a creative, enthusiastic, and multi-versatile marketing specialist specializing in social media.

I am the founder of Peace to the People and a partner at New Horizon Media Group.

During my young adulthood, I've floated by as a versatile artist, writer, and yoga teacher mainly due to my career as a Social Media Manager, Copywriter, and Marketing Specialist.

I only work with people I align with. I work with people I believe in, whose causes legitimately do not feel like something to "sell".

I went through nine months of 200 Hour Teacher Training at the Yoga on High Teacher Training and Ayurveda Institute. They hired me to manage their social media accounts.

Nothing feels more authentic than talking openly about the benefits of yoga that I believe in wholeheartedly, and have invested much time, money, and effort into in my own life.

Through a Groupon three years ago, I discovered the most incredible deep tissue masseuse who specialized in Swedish massage. As I picked her brain about anatomy for three years' worth of sessions, she opened a brand new space with a yoga studio in mind. I work with her. I get down with what she does.

I represent the phenomenal yoga studio in the heart of my hometown. There's no place like home, and this studio is exceptional. I am proud to be a part of this community and help them grow their account.

My parent's insurance agency originally started by my grandfather over thirty-five years ago. I can think of nothing more authentic than to help these businesses.

So though yes, I am in business for profit, to sustain myself and my future family, I vow to be a business of heart, a business that is honest, simple, and helpful-- a business that is symbiotic and truly helpful to all parties involved.

So, in some ways, my drive to be an entrepreneur is largely motivated by a desire for peace.

Mic drop.

(But here, let me pick it back up for you. Peace.)
