Why Breath Awareness is Key

That’s right: I refuse to separate yoga and mindfulness meditation from the rest of my life.
Why? Because both centralize on knowing the breath in each moment. Breath IS life.
I walk into boardrooms of some seriously stressed out people. Their breath is shallow and quick and not long into talking, they spill their secrets about stress and anxiety. Some overeat, have “no time” for working out, and as a result have put on weight and feel like crap about themselves from the inside out.
It’s a vicious cycle, being out of tune with your own self.
Little by little, over time. Daily exercisees.
