People love to tell themselves social media is harder than it is. It's not. But with little experience and a whole lot of adversion to learning new techniques... most people stay stuck in a "oh, that's WAY beyond me" mindset when really, Susan: you do x, y, and z and it's damn near impossible to miss the mark completely. In social media, as in "real" life—you get what you give.
