Have a zippered pouch, accordian file, or set of labeled folders to have a "home" for all those receipts. Are some digital? Make sure to back up an organized folder on your computer.
Ideally, come tax time, you should have only one or two "homes" for such items… no digging, no sorting, no freaking out.
Consolidate your methods of payment. Have a million ways clients can pay you? No wonder you're freaking out!
