How Do You Want to Make People Feel?
I’m an obvious ENFP. Yeah, yeah—I prioritize and thrive on “feeling” my way through most endeavors.
While you might be an all-star analytical, logical powerhouse—you might end up creating some pretty dissonant and emotionally dry imagery leaving your customers feeling a whole lot of “blah” at your images.
Sad truth, but most people are looking to connect. And with today’s super snappy and quick scrolling, if you are going to bother making an impression, make sure it’s one that screams “WOW!” and not “Eh.”
As you probably already know: consistency is key.
What do you want to look like?
How do you want your clients to feel when they see your advertising or promotions?
What is important to you?
The first stage of Social Media Management is understanding the foundation of the business and brand you are about to build.
You need to know who you are, what makes you unique, and what you want to get across.
You need to know what you're all about before you go gushing your story to the public.
So, at first, a little business soul searching.
Knowing how you want to make people feel will largely determine the voice and formality of your brand and image.
My goal for Peace to the People is to provide uplifting, funny, and inspiring content to others—and thus is vibrant, bold, colorful, and consistent in its rhythm.
Because a large part of my passion in life is color theory, music theory, and the philosophy of non-duality, I intentionally balance up to twenty-one colors to represent my business.
The point being the turn in season, the contact shifting of colors, the regularity and expectancy that comes from variety.
Between black and white, variants of all shades.
Whole and unique at once.
