Embrace Revolution—Inner Transformation

Musings • Peace to the People • Embrace Revolution—Inner Transformation

Revolution. A wheel, a chakra, the turning of the entire earth and solar system, swirling away.

We are constantly in motion, even in stillness there is the revolution of the moon-sun-earth-you-name-it.

Change is the only constant in life. No matter how hard we cling to emotional and beautiful memories, we cannot yet jet-set to the time and place of the past. We only have our future to hope for, and our present moment to DO and BE and BETTER.

We can all make this place better. We can treat each other with more kindness.

We can be LEADERS in the world by NOT BEING DOUCHE BAGS and also BEING INTELLIGENT, USING BASIC COMMEN SENSE TO MOVE PAST SLOTH AND STUPIDITY IN A NATION OF WHAT SOMETIMES FEELS LIKE UTTER MORONS.

Let's please stop mindlessly consuming the garbage being produced that does not serve we, the people.

We each have a responsibility to be our best selves.

You hate yourself? Think you're a piece of shit, fat, a fuck up?

You're probably pretty pissed at yourself and you start to feel justified to that disgust, that deep voice inside your skull that shames you and causes you doubt, uncertainty, insecurity.

We all have that. Or have learned to master our inner flame, stoking it into self-love after an internal lightbulb enlightens.

If you hate yourself, you probably are in a bad mood often and possibly even project your shitty attitude on to everyone you encounter.

You're so consumed in your own real and self-created stress that you don't notice your clipped tone, the ice in your eyes, or the nasty, toxic energy you are emitting.

Maybe you feel like shit about yourself and for a moment you glimpse another human sad or angry or otherwise vulnerable. You pick a target and dismiss what they say. Possibly insult them.

This energetic poison seeps from one person to another. We know what it's like to enter a room that turns to ice upon the arrival of the diva/asshole/dick that walks through the door.

You hating yourself causes misery for your partner, children, co-workers and parents. You hating yourself is a cop out and monumental waste of your energy and life.

You must learn to first master yourself before you point fingers at others.

A non-violent, peaceful revolution.

It is possible. Day by day. Moment by moment.
