I could say I'm a "minimalist" chef, but to be more honest? I am often impatient, inexperienced, and not wanting cooking an dcleaning to consume more of my tim ethan it already does.

This is a recipe blog for those who love "winging it."

You are my kind of people.

Figure out your own particularly awesome blends and ratios.

I am a low-maintenance (lazy) chef.

Less is more.

Browse below for many of my favorite go-to recipes for easy as hell and healthy, delicious snacks!

Make to your desire; trust your gut!

Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie

• A Banana

• A scoop or two of Natural Peanut Butter

• A scoop or two of Vanilla Protein Powder

• A cup or two of (whatever kind of) Milk

Instructions:

• Blend.

• Drink!

Spinach Smoothies

Because you can't taste it anyway: Spinach!

Going to drink a glass of orange juice?

• Toss in fresh Spinach!

• Blend.

• Drink an odd-colored and DELICIOUS Vitamin A + K packed drink that tastes identical to your regular OJ.

Make it a full out smoothie with minimal effort:

• Toss in what you've got:

○ Flax Seed

○ Chia Seed

○ Bananas

○ Clementines

○ Apples

○ Strawberries

○ Blueberries

○ Carrots

○ Kale

○ Ginger

○ Greek Yogurt

○ You name it!

Since it has next to no taste and I generally despise salad, I add an excessive amount of spinach to each smoothie.

Sneak my greens into a fruity drink and I'm there to celebrate the ease and nutrients.

Chocolate-Cranberry-Nut Mix

I try to not keep ice cream, cookies and other delicious snacks in my home, as I have next to no willpower most nights past 10:00pm.

So, I opt for tossing awesome things in a tiny bowl:

This is sometimes as simple as:

• Mini Semisweet Chocolate Chips

• Dried Cranberries

• Almonds

Or sometimes as complex as all of the above with perhaps:

• Shelled Pistachios

• Cashews

• Roasted Peanuts

• Pumpkin Seeds

• Etc.

Salty, sweet, freaking delicious.

Black Bean Dip

• Can of Organic Black Beans

• 1 to 5 Cloves of Garlic

• Cumin

Instructions:

Grab some carrots, naan, you name it. Holy deliciousness.

• Toss cloves of garlic in a food processor; chop.

• Drain excess liquid from black bean can; pour beans into processor with garlic.

• Sprinkle a little (or LOTS and LOTS) of cumin.

• Blend.

• Love!

Super Simple Pasta Salad

As my co-workers can vouch for at Yoga on High, I bring about one thing and one thing only to parties: boring, straightforward pasta salad.

Instructions:

• Boil a Box of Tri-Color Wheat Rotini

Meanwhile,

• Finely chop a White Onion

• Drain can of Black Olives

• Wash several handfuls of Cherry Tomatoes

• Feel free to chop the Olives and Tomatoes, or be satisfied with the easiest (laziest) alternative of leaving them whole.

• When pasta is finished, drain and run under cold water.

• Put pasta in bowl.

• Add in Veggies.

• Drizzle your favorite Italian Dressing atop.

• Boomshakalaka.

Go to's?

Hard Boiled Eggs

Make a dozen hard boiled eggs. Eat them in between meals, as a side to your lunch, cut them up for a salad, whatever you need.

Straight-Up Popcorn

My mom bought be a $10 Popcorn Bowl on Amazon. Put popcorn kernels in the bowl, drizzle with olive oil and add salt. Microwave for 2:00 - 3:00 minutes. Eat amazing popcorn without bizarre additives.

Greek Yogurt

This is a staple in my home. Though I know I could curb my sugar-fiend cravings a bit more, I firmly say #treatyoself for yogurt. Chobani pomegranate yogurt. All the time.

Black Bean Dip

• Can of organic black beans

• 1 to 5 cloves of garlic

• Cumin

Instructions:

• Toss cloves of garlic in a food processor; chop.

• Drain excess liquid from can; pour beans into processor with garlic.

• Sprinkle a little (or a TON) of cumin.

• Blend.

• Eat! Awesome with naan, carrots, tacos, you name it.
